Application Details for the 'I-Shou University Da Yi Academic Excellence Scholarship' for the 1st Semester of the 113th Academic Year

Description:

  1. Regulations:
    The scholarship is processed in accordance with the "I-Shou University Da Yi Academic Excellence Scholarship Regulations," approved and announced by the president on June 30, 2024.

  2. Application Period:
    From now until October 18, 2024.

  3. Eligibility:
    (1) Students meeting the criteria are requested to complete the online application by October 18, 2024.
    (2) Eligible students must meet all four conditions below:

    1. Be enrolled in an undergraduate program or hold a post-baccalaureate degree at the university.
    2. For the previous semester (112-2), the student must have completed at least 16 credits. Exceptions:
      • Fourth-year undergraduate students, third-year post-baccalaureate nursing students, fifth-year post-baccalaureate Chinese medicine students, and sixth-year medical students need to have completed at least 9 credits.
      • Students in full-term external internships must have completed at least 9 credits for the semester.
        For further details, refer to the regulations.
    3. Conduct score must be 85 or above, with no disciplinary records from the previous semester.
    4. Students must not have received the university's Foreign Student Scholarship, other scholarships of similar nature ranked by academic performance, or external scholarships obtained through internal selection processes.
  4. Disqualification Criteria:
    Students will not be eligible to apply if any of the following apply:
    (1) Disciplinary record of warning or higher in the 112-2 semester.
    (2) Receiving Foreign Student Scholarship, other internal academic performance-based scholarships, or external scholarships obtained through internal selection processes for the 113-1 semester.
    (3) Students in extended graduation, withdrawn, or suspended status during the 113-1 semester.

  5. Award Amount and Recipients:
    The scholarship amount and recipient list will be announced following review and approval by the Scholarship Committee. Funds will be disbursed via postal bank transfer.

  6. Digital Certificates:
    In line with environmental protection and digitalization efforts, paper certificates will no longer be issued. Instead, electronic certificates will be provided.

  7. Grade Verification:
    The scholarship evaluation will rely on grades recorded in the school system. If there are any changes to grades, please notify promptly.
